UI Core Components
The shared @vend1k/ui design system and theming.
The monorepo uses Tailwind CSS v4 for styling. Global styles, color palettes, and fonts are inherited from custom CSS layers.
Design system
Core components live under packages/ui. This is a private dependency referenced across all apps. Components are styled in OKLCH colors matching the Claude warm editorial look: cream backgrounds, soft brown foregrounds, and rust-colored primary actions.
Theming
Themes are defined as [data-theme] blocks that expose CSS custom properties (for example --background, --primary, --border). Dark mode toggles a .dark class via next-themes, and a shared ThemeModeToggle flips between light and dark with a view-transition wave animation.
These very docs reuse that system — the Fumadocs UI inherits the same OKLCH palette by mapping its color tokens onto the shared theme variables.
